The Smartcard Networking Forum will never sell, rent or otherwise make available your personal information to anyone other than its registered members or authorised agents (who have agreed to keep information confidential and secure).

You do not need to register to use scnf.org.uk but registration is necessary to access the Members' secure area of the site.

The registration information collected is:

  • Your name
  • Your local authority/organisation name
  • Your job position/role (which is optional)
  • Your email address
  • The smart card interests of your authority/organisation (which is optional)

Other information collected:

  • Feedback by way of comments submitted by you
  • Questions asked of the site administrator
  • Other e-mails to the site administrator

Use of Information

If you register as a Member we may send you details of Forum events, news and other items likely to be of interest to you.

Access to your information

You can amend or delete (un-register) your information at any time by submitting a request by e-mail to coordinator@scnf.org.uk. Un-registering will affect the removal from our records of all personal details you have given us.

Site usage information

Records of the use made of the web site is by way of log files. Log files allow us to record visitors' use of the site. We use log files to assess the use made of the web site and plan new content, or changes to existing content, based on the way that visitors move around it. Log files do not contain any personal information or information about which other sites you have visited.
